I am excited to share my latest project: Beginning Customer Analysis Using Tableau. This book will be published digitally and will also contain additional material (i.e. Excel files, Tableau workbook files) to help readers grasp the basic concepts of Tableau.
I’ve been frequently getting requests to teach Tableau and thought it would be great to write this book to help many other upcoming analysts get familiar with the tool. I’ve also decided to focus on analyzing customer information for a better context into how we use the tool to drive strategic recommendations.
As the reader, you’ll play the role of a marketing analyst at a nationwide coffee chain who is tasked with analyzing the business and providing a recommendation, which is very much what the real world looks like.
